Troubleshoot your iPhone X Ear Speaker
When in call, make sure your volume is all the way up. If the other party still sounds low or you still can not hear them, try plugging in lightning cable headphones and then disconnect it. If this doesn't work, try a hard reset of the iPhone X. Press the volume up and then the volume down in quick succession.
