MacBook Pro Not Booting
There are a number of reasons a MacBook Pro not booting past the question mark folder. It can be due to software curuption or hardware failures. Symptoms are your MacBook Pro won't boot past the Apple logo, you might see a white screen with a flashin folder and question mark symbol. There may also be a white screen with a NO sign or a grey circle with a slash through it. Startup may just hang on the Apple logo and the MacBook Pro may not boot into the desktop.
If this is due to a software failure, we can wipe the drive and reinstall OSX for you. If however this is due to a hardware failure such as the hard drive failing, it would cost a bit more. Unfortunately, data is not always recoverable when the MacBook Pro is in this state. Reinstalling the operating system wipes the current data. On the other hand, thankfully diagnosis is free and we will only charge you if we can make your MacBook Pro work again.
