Surface Pro 6 Repairs
Listed below are the repairs we currently offer for the Microsoft Surface Pro 6. The Surface Pro 6 is also known as the New Surface Pro 2018. You can tell your have a Surface Pro 6 model by checking where the kickstand hinge meets the device - it should be gray in color on the device and kickstand side. Also on the back side of the kickstand, the model number will be 1824. The most common repair we offer for the Surface Pro 6 is the cracked screen repair which includes the digitizer which is responsible for touch and pen input and the LCD which is responsible for displaying the image. This device was released June 2018 and sports a 8th generation Intel Kaby Lake Core processors. They will either have an i5-8250U or i7-8650U intel chip inside. The Surface Pro i5 version does not have an internal fan whereas the i7 model does. Unfortunately, the RAM and SSD are soldered onto the device so they are not upgradeable on this machine since they are not modular parts. This Surface Pro ships with Windows 10 Pro.
