Surface Pro 9 Repairs
Listed below are the repairs we currently offer for the Microsoft Surface Pro 9. You can identify which Surface Pro you have by right-clicking Start, then selecting Settings > System. Scroll down and select About. The top of the window will give you Surface model information. If the screen isn't working, you can also check on the back side of the kickstand; the model number will be 1995 (or 1996 for the 5G model).
This device was released in October 2022 and features the 12th generation Intel Alder Lake Core processors or Microsoft SQ3 processors for the 5G model. They will either have an i5-1245U, i7-1265U, or Microsoft SQ3 chip inside. Surface Pro 9 models with Intel chips have an internal fan, while the 5G model with Microsoft SQ3 is fanless. Unfortunately, the RAM is soldered onto the device, so they are not upgradeable on this machine since they are not modular parts. This Surface Pro ships with Windows 11.
The most common repair we offer for the Surface Pro 9 is the cracked screen repair, which includes the digitizer (responsible for touch and pen input) and the LCD (responsible for displaying the image). If you'd like to fix your Surface Pro 9, we can help!
